We invite studies which address the characterization of the Earth's crust in terms of structure, petrophysics and seismic behaviour. We expect contributions based on seismic and seismological methods, also in combination with other geophysical and geological observations. Furthermore, this session offers a platform to discuss the integration of those characteristics and their classification potential. There is no preference given to any regional setting. Instead, a comparison of different areas may be achieved and differences or similarities discussed. Contributions encompassing all depth and resolution levels from near-surface to crustal-scale, and from field-based studies to numerical modelling are welcome.
