Information - TP3 Planetary Geodesy at the Centimeter-Level

Event Information
While this session welcomes all contributions in planetary geodesy and mapping, we will particularly focus on advances in technology in the framework of tracking and ranging experiments using radio or laser. The topics may include discussions on a next-generation Lunar geodesy experiment (as it is proposed for ESA’s Mars Sample Return Precursor mission), satellite to satellite tracking for gravity field mapping (as is currently demonstrated by the Earth-orbiting GRACE mission), as well as altimetry experiments in different planetary environments. The session will welcome studies on instrument concepts as well as data simulations.
